You found something very interesting. It is also interesting that the the British X craft only got such a small mention. They certainly qualify as a sneak craft. And didn't the English navy use the Italians and their 2 man chariots against the Germans after they changed sides? |

Yes they did. In the final days, IJN tried something like that but hadn't the resources left to take it past the testing phase. SW |

The IJN used kamikaze subs…..but they usually failed. However, the Italians had quite a few successes. Perhaps the Japanese couldn't plan enough to get their crews back? Don't knock Italian ingenuity. Best Regards, Mark |
