I see you like the grooved handguards also, here's a pic of my Ennies to include a rescued LB above the JC. Bubba hacked it up but left the metal alone, I was able to bring it back to proper form with LB and Savage parts. My Frenchies: |

its really nice to know we all love different rifles , that is what preserves the whole , and wqay too many of these are going away , they need preservation |

I kept. Trying to pick one but the dot Didn't fill in. I love the k98, but I like the #4mk1* better For the 10 rd.mag and the better sights. |

The Lee Enfield No4 Mk1 & 2. SMLE as a close second. (mainly because of the sights). |

its been a while since ive thought of this thread , i miss my US Krags - thos were bolt actions that were smooth as butter , i had a 92/4 , a 94 and a 99 carbine at one time as well as the spanish M83 mauser they faced in the spanam war , different times and i did enjoy learning of them , they have been gone so long now i cant find all the data i know i have on them , i do see some of my photobucket photos are still showing up in these old threads that are getting brought back to life |
