i was copying a couple photos today and tried these, ill maybe do some more if these turn out OK, im not really set up to do this, still working out sometehing that works.

the marine cemetery on saipan, this is a flyover that was set up to honor those who took the island shortly after the B29s were there in force.

the caption says captain morgan of the 'memphis bell' is flying the lead plane, my father was in the left blister.

and this is a photo of "our baby" [Asquare10] after she got shot up over target - nagoya

the newspaper clips are about the bangkok raids primarily- these were staged out of india , the burma/india campaign actualy got started ahead of the islands , but the second part of the clips are about the nagoya bomb run , staged from saipan/tinnian , both clips from our local paper credit my father with one of the kills that would be painted on the nose [these were noted by a japanese flag] along with the bomb that denotes the missions , his blister took some hits , he always said a round went clear thru the plain missing him and the right gunner behind him , no injuries were suffered ,

the news in local papers were a big part of trying to lift the homefront spirits , the bombings of japanese homeland targets were seen as finaly getting revenge for pearl harbor ,

ill try to post more as i get time these didnt turn out too bad
