Stationed in Hawaii I visited the Submariners Memorial on more than a few occasions. Plaques on the wall commemorate those on eternal Patrol. As a submariner myself I have the upmost respect for those who sacrificed the ultimate for peace. This was as important a spot to us of the silent service as is the Arizona Memorial. Both will stay with me for the rest of my days. |
