Looks like a commercial plane that was retrofitted for military use?

I keep thinking it's German and set up for rough landings - like the Russian front. I still don't have a clue, though. SW

....saw a short clip of that thing flying on a erun of some program about weird German aircrat a few nites back....dont remember if it was the military channel or History or what....but there was a few minutes mentioned about that one...

The second aircraft in this thread is the FW-189 Uhu. It was quite successful in it's role.
