Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Some months ago I received one like these from a shooting buddy who found It in an old neighbour's shed. Together with some .50 rounds and assorted ammo, a couple German flare-boobytraps, ... He had no use for the stuff so he gave it to me. Got rid of the boobytraps, kept the ammo (all WWII dated) and put the detector for sale on ebay. It was incomplete, disc was missing, but still got like 120 for it.

Ah, yes! The "broom". Been around one of those before. In beautiful S.E. Asia, we went on patrol every morning to sweep Rt. 9 for mines. The patrol from Rockpile met us about halfway. If current events were a bit 'hectic' a Duster ( twin 40mm mount on a tank chassis) clanked along with us. Once we even had a couple M-60 tanks.

I would not have wanted to run the 'broom' - I would have been scared of missing a mine. SW
