Yep. Pearl Harbor. Dad was on the USS Nevada. He boxed and had planned to attend a smoker on the USS Arizona that evening. The plans didn't quite work out.

I have spoken with several Pacific War vets over the years, and to a man they still bitterly hated the Japanese. Dad did to his dying breath.

I can't say I actually hate any Japanese, but I do not own - nor will I ever buy a Japanese-made car.

I ain't forgetting. Ever. SW

i think it is immperative that this day be remembered , i never sugest harboring any hate for anyone but i understand those of that generation who do/did ,
