my home town area in Iowa , id not realized the youngest had been married and had a child , and i didn't realize he was married to the daughter of a prominent family in town , her maiden name was roof , that was the mayors name when i lived there , and he was a successful contractor ,

anyway , it was an inspiring movie , and they are the reason siblings dont serve in the same units these days

Good movie, I used to watch it all the time back when I was a kid. Haven't seen it in awhile, something I'll have to try to track down next time I'm out and about.

yup , technically i am from just about as far out of waterloo as milwright is but he is east on #20 and i was west on old #20 , i dont actually claim waterloo and i dont think he does either ,

waterloo/cedar falls have always been somewhat linked as there is little to no distance between the city limits signs now , when i was in high school i think they might have been 7 miles apart , the strip we cruised was 4th street in downtown waterloo ,

not sure if you have heard the talk show host - jason lewis ? he has recently gone national and has filled in for rush on occasion , known as 'americas mr right' , he is twin cities based and was in denver before that and i think in the carolinas for a while as well , he is from waterloo as well ,

I wouldn't claim Waterloo either

Can't say I've heard of him, but I'm gonna have to check him out.

twin cities drive time & early evening on KTaLK 100.3 FM , was a PITA to jessie ventura when he was governor , worth a listen ,
