Mario,

Is this a US military address??

TSGT Patrick Hernandez
386 ECES/CEOU
APO AE 09855

What I've heard so far is that I can not use this address over here in Europe.
Do you have another address that I can use to send mail to Patrick??

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin

I think the APO address is the "problem" Mario.
We use (sort of) the same address.
It's called NAPO.
We have to send the letter to an address(military post office) in the Netherlands.
This military post office will send it to Germany , Afghanistan or wherever the Dutch soldier is stationed.
Patrick will get his letter or card.
It just takes a bit longer.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin

BTW, when will he be back????

Great to hear from you every now and then Patrick.
Do you remember what I asked you last time?????
When you fly back to the US and land on Eindhoven AFB....LET ME KNOW.
I'd love to drive over and meet you there.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin

So whats with this new customs form you have to fill out? I sent some packages to a friend of mine who was serving over there about two years ago and I didn't need to do that. Where do you get the forms?

I sent my package to Patrick without the customs form.
Let's see what happens.
I hope it doesn't take too long before he gets it.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin

NO, ofcourse not.
I sent him some ice cream and a few cold drinks.
I'm sure he can use that over there.

I hope it stays cold long enough in that fridge I put it all in.
Sure glad I don't have to pay the shipping. :lol :lol

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin

I got the package a few days ago ... Sorry for not responding sooner but I had to have surgery for a inguinal hernia and was recovering at the Military Hospital for a few weeks.
I still have alot of pain and right now I am on very limited duty.
THANK YOU for the wonderful gifts you sent Martin they were just fantastic and very much appreciated. Please THANK your Senior Sgt. for the pen set he sent to me along with the beret and windmill you sent.
As soon as I get back home I will wear the beret with pride
Thank You again
Patrick

Just get well real soon Patrick.
I'm glad you received the package and that you like the things that were in it.
It's the least I can do for you.

Take care my friend.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin
