Wow, I wish they did that over here on Veterans Day.
It's getting better, but IMHO we could do better.

In the Netherlands all Veterans receive a Veterans pas when they leave the service.

...the links said show a pic of you in uniform,or come in uniform,or military ID,or membership to VFW/American Legion,or DD214....
....there arent many places around here that do this-but I did see there's an Applebees about 10 minutes ride from where I work....I may just do this for the first time ever and get me a lunch... :bigrin:
....since I dont quite resemble myself from back in those days after all these years :roll: I think I'll just take my DD214 copy and drive over there for some grub this Thursday... :grin:
