Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

was that you wavin at us ?

seriously , this was a front that many paid little attention to until the wall was built to keep the people 'in' so much different than keeping them 'out' , when they shot those trying to escape - it made the news , when we airlifted the supplies to the west - it made the news , when elvis was sent there - it made the news , but mostly it was VN body counts that - made the news , and the likes of hanoi jane - made the news ,

your service is much appreciated and well remembered by those of us of an age to recall we were manning a double front against communism in those days , and even tho shots were not fired regularly i know folks died there defending us ,

one of my very best friend was there in those days , i do know and remember , thanks for reminding us
