my dad spoke of sad sack , my mother bought a book of them - i grew up on that type of humor , its still funny in the sense of making light of some really serious chit , i do appreciate your postings , they bring back so many memories that its hard to share with those that have no memory |

I remember when my oldest brother Ed was in Korea during the war, we would make up packages to send him. My Mom's packing material was popcorn, line the box with wax paper and Fill in around the goodies with fresh popcorn. Their was always a new paperback sized book of "Pogo Papers" a cartoon he enjoyed. Mom always included something for Ed's buddy Al so he wouldn't feel left out. Memories. |
