Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

On another site someone was posting about getting stung by wasps. Herein follows my wasp war story...

Back in the day at Camp Lejeune, my squad was designated bad guys for a training scenario and took position in a small abandoned building. The good guys were supposed to effectively assault the building in a manner that would minimize casualties.

I had an M-60 with belt of blanks for the exercise. We soon saw the good guys putting the sneek on us. When they got a little closer, I ripped off half a belt just to let them know they weren't fooling anybody.

Rat-a-tat-tat... **sting, sting, sting!** Dang! There were 2 big wasp nests in the building we hadn't noticed & one was right above me! They did NOT like MG fire and attacked! I got nailed several times in just a few seconds.

We surrendered. Training cadre laughed their butts off.

Other than always watch for wasps, a big lesson I learned was that I never fired blanks again. They crap up a gun like you can't believe! SW
