Remember how much fun those were? Like Sat night after around 2AM, and people started "calling dragons"? Hey, "RALPH"! And such fun stuff. ;)

When we came home from 1st tour, the whole battalion got a 5 day pass. A friend invited me home with him & it was a good time.

We returned to the base around 2 or 3 AM. The taxi dumped us out & we were just walking through rows of the old barracks... it was a little foggy, and we both wondered aloud which was ours.

Just as we passed a decrepit old building, some poor schmuck on the 3rd floor was retching his toenails up. Quite a pitiful sound if ever there was one. We both grinned and remarked at the same time, "That's our company!"

And it was! :-o SW

i dont care - you went and served and i thank you , not meant as an embarasement - meant as a genuine thank you that most our age did not receive at the time ,

its been ignored for too long - and the libs that were unpleasant [notice how delicate i was] to our returning vets at that time are needing to OWN the disgrace of their actions ,

if i can pi$$ in their head cover , for even a second , it will make those days a bit less hard to remember
