Received my C&R renewal notice. I've been thinking of letting it go. Midway no longer has dealer pricing and there's not much in the C&R market. The last rifle I bought on line was a CZ/Bruno #1 .22.
Then I also won't need a bound book any longer.

C&Rs are not required to turn in our bound books.
It would be a good idea to keep it on hand if the need ever arises to refer back to it.

so ... now you have a record that the government can compel you to produce many years down the road .. not that i really care as this would/could involve so many people that the government could be tied up for years looking through so many antiques that they would be lucky to find that "one" that might have been used in a crime by someone who stole it from a collector

and in the end - its a criminal that stole it and a criminal that used it and a criminal that should pay the price , but an innocent that followed the rules that is on record ,

just looking ahead to the future and wondering ....
