Ted has already given you most of the news. I would like to add my regretts that those from this board that were here last year were sorely missed this year along with new members we have not met face to face. We had a large Swiss display that was very nice and informative. One of the Swiss collectors asked if there were any good rifles in there or were they all Japanese Junk. The weather was beautiful, no rain and just light jacket weather. riceone. In this picture are two WW11 Vets. On the left with blue sweater and hands behind his back is George Turner. He landed on the Second day of D-Day. Standing at the end of the table with hands in his pocket is Jay Ashford. He was a replacement at the Battle of The Bulge. He was wounded there. Jay is my neighbor and George and I go to church together. Both very gentle men. |

the lord was smiling on you for sure , my luck id have thrown my back out first then got rained on , im feeling outside his 'good graces' lately , but i do believe 'all things happen for a reason' , and 'he moves in mysterious ways' so im counting on clarity and the realistation it was 'for the best' soon , otherwise ........ but needless to say , it seems you got home safely , so im thankfull for that , hope everyone else got home safely as well , next year i shall try this -- |

We had a great time at the MS show. Ted, you made a major impression on my son. He has a treasure in the Swiss cap that you gave him. He has shown it to everyone he can and took it to school today. He had a great time at the show and can't wait until next year. He may be a future collector. I learned a lot and met some really nice people. It was nice to meet LoLo --to put a person with the posts on the board. Btw, I am riceone's oldest daughter. |
