Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I had a LH Rem 788 in 6mm a long time ago. Really nothing wrong with it, but brass was a pain to find around here so I sold it & stayed with a 243 for a 6mm caliber. SW

I had a 6mm rem made on a 1917 amberg over thirty years ago and I still like it. Personally I wouldn't have a 243 win. Groups about 3/4" last time I really checked. It has put a few mule deer in the freezer.

I bought a 100 when I first had the rifle made and don't really shoot it very much. I also bought a set of case forming dies to make them and have oodles of 06 brass.

I fixed up 2 788's for my daughters and gave them to them for Christmas a few years ago. Put Weaver K4's on them. The oldest got a young Bull Moose with her's last Fall.
