I have lusted for a AR10 for a long time. It just never got to the top of the list when I had the cash on hand. This was a consignment at my local shop and after a few calls back and forth with the guns owner we worked a deal. I figured I paid 50 cents on a dollar for a near new rifle. Armalite 7.62 lower with Geissele trigger, gas buster, Magpul PRS, the BCG appears as new. The Noveske upper is a 21 inch heavy stainless with SWS, Smith Vortex FS, Troy battle set. I have a mid range (price) scope to put on it for now. I need to do rings. I have a set on a M1A that is higher than I want, I may move those and replace with shorter ones. it is THE right scope for this , you will not be disappointed in any way with the performance , and it sits right down where you want it to , mine is a DPMS LR308 with a 24" bull bbl , but im certain you will find it a correct solution to that long range problem - i put this together for an 800-1000yd league we were shooting up here , im no good but this rifle/scope is |

That looks very nice sir. I have no problem building a rifle that out shoots me. I have shot a friends Leatherwood and was very impressed with it's quality. I have a Burris Fullfield II in 4.5X14 on the shelf that I well use for now. I got busted smuggling this rifle in the house. My ears are burning so I better not have any packages show up for a few weeks. I tried a set of Burris ET rings in med height but came up about .150 short. I may order some Warne AR rings, I know a few guys that swear by them on the flat tops. |

What kind of target are you shooting? Steel plate Gong? If so... what thickness and diameter? __________________ |
