The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. I picked this up for my wife as a Christmas gift, than she got sick and we never even got it to the range. I had to go with something light in recoil, and liked that I can stick this in a back pack and it uses any AR mag. Weighs in at less than 5 pounds empty and is not gas operated thus cleaner. Hope to be able to get it out some day soon.

Pete hit it on the head it is a Kelec SU16, in .223. I could have gotten it cheaper if I had looked around but I got it from the local Mom and Pop store that has been there 30 some years and backs what he sells so I paid the little extra which IIRC was about $600 it was a lot less than the folding Mini they had in stock and I like the cheap hi cap mags instead of paying the big bucks for the Ruger mags. Plus as soon as my wife held it she said she wanted it so that was that. Wrap it up I'll take it. She got my a Commander the same day, hope to get them out to the range some day.

Thank you, yep it takes the same mags as the AR I have a couple pouches of the 30 rounders all ready to go. Where it holds the 2 factory 10 rounders in the stock you can fit 1 30 so guess what I have in there now.

I have thought about putting a red dot or small laser on it, I have an old Redfield I could set on it but that would kind of defeat the purpose. I reckon we will just wait and see what happens and let it stay the way it is for now.
