Corvair pickups - like the cars, they weren't around long. I don't recall seeing any around here.

V-dub got into the pickup act, too - for a while. Even had a crew cab. For a crew of Oompa-Loompas, maybe. Not much room in them.

Cab over Willys Jeep. A dealership in the sandhills actually sold a lot of those. A friend's dad had one. I learned to drive in a regular Jeep pickup. You couldn't go fast enough to get in trouble. But not much leg room.

Oddly, people pay serious money for any of the above in nice shape. There's a fellow in town here who fancies himself a Corvair collector. Has 5 or 6 of which only one runs. Spare parts must be problematic. SW
