That never actually raced. But it was a truly original design. 16 cylinder radial engine... independent suspension... It would hit 150MPH and was intended to compete in the 1935 Grand Prix but certain problems couldn't be overcome.

Another go-faster of the 30s - Auto Union Type D.

A.U. Types A, B & C were fast but tended to oversteer due to poor weight
distribution. In a 550hp car going 150 mph, that was trouble waiting to happen.

Designers re-arranged things, making the Type D easier to handle at speed. In Grand Prix races of the 30s, Auto Union and Mercedes both did quite well followed closely by Italian types.

A.U's twin supercharged V-16 racing engine @ 550 horsepower.

Streamlined Type C. Body design didn't help steering issues to the degree needed.

hitler stopped a lot of progress on the fast track - like all other socialists have and are doing today - mostly in the "name" of progress but in fact stifling just that , energy was only the first of the key needed things today that 'biden's or whoever is pulling his strings' have squished , more coming ..........
