Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

It's probably the one thing I'll ever say here in this forum that will get me a lot of grief, but I have not the time of day for Harley Davidson. I'd say more, but I don't want to make enemies.

The only Harley's I like are from the AMF period (and thats just because it's considered the "Dark Ages" of HD) :twisted:

But, if riding a Harley is what makes you happy... Then more power to you. It is a clean looking machine!

Have you seen the new '08 Harleys?

Maybe if the wife doesn't like the new bike, she'll let you get one of the new John Deers

But then again I am partial because I built it.

Had to giveit away when I moved along with 3 other bikes (only had room to move 2)
Now I am in the process of getting it back. Would like to run itat Mid-Ohio next vintage days

Well this is my current ride

1979 honda 400 hawk

in 1979 it came with High perf 3 valve cylinders, overhead cam,
electronic ignition, aluminum mag wheels.

It feels like a lot more than 400 cc when you twist the throttle
