Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

I have an 82 but can't find a pic of it.
77Kaw my first and the only one I sold.

Bought this new in 80, it is a lemon as first year for 750cc.

Very smooth. I even had cruise control on it till wrecked it. Had it to Wyoming a few times.

That top Kwakka is just like the 650 I rode in the late 70s-early 80s.

Toured the Eastern states of Oz and Tasmania.

Loved that bike.

Same colour, too.

Only problem was the carpal tunnel thing I got in the throttle hand on a very long trip in the 70s.
Still have it....the carpal thing.

Fine vibes from the engine did it.

Never had trouble with singles and twins.

If you look close you can see the throttle lock I put on it for that very same reason but I had surgery on mine to help a little bit. Also have a throttle lock on the 80.

Actually bought a throttle lock...but it didn't fit. Bars were a bit narrow and didn't allow room.
I think I had swapped the original bars for something lower and narrower..

On the Tasmania trip. I had to tape thick foam around the throttle grip.
Only way I could hang on.

I took a cruise control for a car and installed it on the Concours. That sure made it nice.
