Good eyes! Thats my other project, my 1956 Ford F100. It's not exactly stock. It has a blown fuel injected Ford Lightning 5.4 motor in it. 4 Wheel disc brakes with independent front suspension. Due to my owies it's going to be sitting there for awhile.

i think she will be a hit in that spitfire - and that small engine helps to avoid tickets , its also a bit better on gas while driving in a lot of class

Yes thats my 1929 A. I scrounged the wheels up one day while on patrol. I saw this 29 sitting on a trailer at a country restaurant and I asked the owner if he had one rim to sell. He said no and then gave me 4 rims and tyres!

Did you know 4 of those barely fit in the back of a Ford Police car! I drove home very fast to get them out of the back seat praying all the way I would not get a call!

Mark, my old boss told me - your benefits are where you find them, i.e. the rims and the mode of transportation! That 29 will make a great classy ride when you get her fixed up. Keep up the great work - hope you get some relief from the pain soon.

My f-i-l had rheumatoid (sp?) arthritus really bad. He loved to do fine cabinetry work (not the butcher work that I do) - he was really good at wood working. When his hands and wrists were really bad (terribly distorted and painful, he still went to his basement workshop - abused those hands, etc. When he came back upstairs he would say it was worth the agony. Said the woodworking was his therapy, because the pain meds didn't seem to help much. Hang in there I hope you get better soon.

Some more work going on. This time its the back panel. I bought one from fleebay for 20 busks and decided I could make a better one that fit nicer and would be stronger.

So I made the new one and am getting ready to cut the holes for speakers and lay on the matching material and more insulation. I found that a factory cd/radio out of a 90's Mustang fit the existing radio hole so that is going in along with the Ford JBL amp and multi cd changer will go in the trunk.

Good thing I ran alot of extra wires to the trunk!

The grills will get painted black so every thing should blend in and look stock (sort of).




Sorry I have to put this one in! I asked my 13 year old to help label dash wires. After words I noticed more then wires were labeled! We had fun!

I told her the story of when I was 15 and was working on my first car a 1964 Pontiac and I had to rewire the dash. My father told me to make sure I labeled the wires from the car so I could get things back in the correct spots.

The only problem was I used masking tape and wrote the notes in pencil! Yep by the time I got to putting it back in the pencil marks were long gone! I sold the car with a lot of none working dash parts. We learn by mistake. And Dad if you read this I love you for all the things you told me when you thought I was not paying attention!
