Oh year the races were the coolest! I really like the 350cc classes & the
old hand shifters were fun to watch as we sat at the wicked "S" turns right after the long back straight. Saw a few folks go down but no serious injuries.

great pics and it brings back old memories. my college buddy had a 650 triumph! he rebuilt the engine on the desk in his dorm room. put everything back together, then about 2 am after we had all been partaking of the liquid refreshment. we took it to the first floor of the dorm opened the double front doors, kick it over and roared out of there! that thing had pretty close to straight pipes - it's a wonder any of us can hear today. problem is i don't hear as well as I used to. just ask my wife. boy that was a whole lifetime ago - time passes quickly
