Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I saw it but it was mostly obscured. Didn't know about the long wait for a commie car though. Which was the one that was made of pressboard? Was that a Czech made deal?

Not many bikers on here, the sidecar was one of the first things I saw. I was trying to see more detail of the bike itself.

As we used to say a "WING DINGER".

Well I was going to say Trabi (Trabant), but I looked at the link and that is exactly it the plastic bodied car with the two cycle engine. A former East Berliner told me they called them a "butt" because the smoke reminded them of a cigar. The Czech company Tatra made a series of air cooled cars. I thought they were part of Skoda Auto, but apparently not and I think Tatra's cars were four cycle and reliable. There is an interesting book on air cooled engines by Julius Makerle who worked for Tatra. It is in english and hard to find used copies. Approximately $130-140. Ouch. Hopefully this is the last revision and edit. :oops:

Ah a very subjective subject. I know there are those here that consider penciled images of commie song-writers art :lol

There may be some among us who would consider these 'works of art'
(the car)
