I haven't but for the price let H&R do it & they'll warranty it if there are any problems. Their barrel exchange program is an incredible value.

I want to get a 25-06 heavy 26" for one of mine.

$114 for the barrel & $19 to ship = $133

That's a great deal.

Also remember you can ship direct & they will ship direct back to you no transfers need to be done.

Duh!

I just realized this is in the scattergun forum. Shotgun barrels are cheaper.

I have one with an 18" barrel but it was made long before they got into adding barrels to them.

So I took the plunge and ordered a 20ga barrel on GB. I'm gonna see how it fits on my 12 ga frame. Might work, might not. It'll cost me $30 to find ou. Let you all know how it goes when he barrel ges here.

So the 20ga tured into a 410ga pardner barrel and fit PERFECTLY on my topper frame. Yeah! Now I got one gun with two barrels. Or two guns with one receiver?
