if not , sorry bout that , anyways it was called "shoot for the future" , it was in nashville , celebrities that were there included http://www.louisemandrell.com/ , and http://www.irlenemandrell.com/ [who shot the event and is quite good] sisters of http://www.barbara-mandrell.com/ of course , and the national anthem was sung by Christy Sutherland. we left here when the coldfront was moving in - it chased us all the way to tennessee , it was cold and breezy , but we had a great time , we drove the farthest , but the attendance was pretty good , the range there is terriffic , the paths are all paved and the majority of the place is accessible with only a couple sporting clays stations not being used because the required climbing stairs to elevated platforms , aarons dad went with us , it was great fun , we ate breakfast at the waffle house , a new experience for me we smoked ceegars we shot both trap and sporting clays for those who dont know - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Cross http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCV_mM_ijWk i plan to go next year too |

you are correct sir , can you get a few celebraties to come ? just spoofin ya , you guys are worth the trip in my book , i will try to do just that gimps dad takes photos - he was real proud of the one of me on the sporting clays , if you look close he caught a shell just above the ejection port and one above my hat [you will note a red A square 10 on each side of the hat] , it was one of the stages we convinced our 'guide' to shoot as true pairs , the course was set for singles and report pairs as there were a bunch of first time wheel chair shooters , but half the stations presented great true pairs , our group were all experienced shooters so we convinced him we should add that at those stations just for fun , |

yes that range is really nice , the sporting clays are set up around a large loop road/paved pathway , all of the stations shoot inward to keep the clays and shot contained on the property , they have spent some bucks on the shooting stations and on the target thrower stand [such as the tower that has multiple throwers [see middle photo] on mechanically hoistable platforms , something i did not mention , gimps stepfather was michael mcintosh , the shotgun writer .... http://www.amazon.com/Michael-McIntosh/e/B001JS0WVY |

Back in the late '80's at the OSU Medical Center I spent a year and a half as a drug administration tech at Dodd Hall, a rehab center for stroke, head injury and spinal cord injury patients. What an unbelievably dedicated staff I had the priviledge of working with back then! |
