I traded a m48 mauser for a Chinese made double barrel, it shoots great, at point of aim functions perfect, not much to function though, break open! so my first ever reloads for a scattergun I decided to use up some Pyrodex and worked up a load 7/8 load of shot and 90grns. of Pyrodex, shoots great, got a nice kick and a ton of smoke, maybe I shall drop it to about 85grn. but 90 crimps good.

Was that actual weight or equivalent to BP. If was actual weight you have quite a charge.

I loaded 90grns of Pyrodex RS, by Volume, sorry, I should have stated that. I started out with 45grns. and worked up to 90. it has plenty of kick,, and lots of smoke.
