Another relic of yesteryear. A Remington Mohawk-48 in 12 gauge that had been cut down and had a Cutts Compensator attached by a weld and pinned in place. Barrel length at 18 and one tenth of an inch she is short, handy and legal in my state. The Remington Mohawk was a 5 shot recoil operated shotgun made from the late 40s until 1959. I played with it a bit yesterday handles anything from 00 buckshot to #8 birdshot with no issues. The Cutts Compensator adds some weight to the muzzle, no doubt reduces recoil but does accentuate the blast. Fun beast.

interesting piece , think i might add a couple rounds with a mag tube - couple rounds longer than the barrel wont hurt it ,
