.410 bore shotshells may be made from .303 Brit, also .444 Marlin. If you are going to get started down this road in reloading, you may as well buy the pre-made .410 bore full brass shotshell cases made by Mag Tech. You can get these from Ballistic Products Inc. Of course, you will need to trim these.

Many of the older shotguns had shorter chambers than more modern guns, and reloading for them to get a supply of ammo is almost a must. Loading brass shotshells is trickier than metallic centerfire cartridges and there isn't much information out there for doing it using smokeless powder. If you are interested, message me and I will give you some stuff I have on loading metallic shotshells. It doesn't include anything specific to 2 inch .410 loads, but it will give you some idea of what is involved.
