So what do you use for home defense and why?

I myself use either game and trap load in the 20ga or Remington Premier Copper Solid Slugs in 12 ga because I feel that the g&t loads work pretty effectively at the close ranges you'd encounter in a home And you don't have to worry too much about shot traveling through the walls. Or if I grab the 12 ga I'll be poking a big hole through someone...

My 870 tube has target load, small game # 7, duplex small game # 4 & #7, Small game # 4 & then finally 4 slugs. I figure start small & end big just in case I miss at first I can get them at a distance running :lol
