Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Picked this up for cheap at the local gun shop 12 ga victor ejector
wicked mean little short barrel

I also have a long barrel version of this same 12 ga

That looks just like the H & R Topper with an 18 1/4" barrel that I have. How long is the barrel on that one?

a few shots at tactical distance 30 ft or so
using regular win universal shells

I wouldn't want to be shot at with it

Even a short barrel with a full choke will throw a good pattern at 30 yds.

Heres how you deal with a choke on a chopped barrel.

This is a lot like yours..It has a finish of flexible,paint-able under coating.Takes a while to harden up but dose a nice quick cheap job.I loaned a guy $500 on 10 guns for 6 months and got this free for the loan.Most times the guys don't come back and i kept them all.

You can also have choke tubes installed as I have on two of mine.

I 'm not a fan of the adjustable choke but some one who ether could not read a ruler or did not know the law chopped that off to short.I had the choke off a moss.500 barrel and 2 much time on my hands and came up with this.It was a fun project on a $15.00 gun and i wanted to try the paste bluing out also.The white + black spacers on the butt and forend are pieces cut from plastic oil cans. total cost was around $22.00 . but its a kick to shoot.Some one before me took a bit 2 much off the stock were it meets the receiver so it bras blood when you shoot it with out watching out.I used shoe polish and wax to get the finish on the wood.

tapered choked chamber forward
gauge it..IC may be...
will hurt more than the regular Johnson i have 8 or so ..
best match shotgun is the1940s back with rib barrels
