Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Those MSRP's that Winchester used to put out in their factory price list were optimistic in my experience, from seeing what the local retailers sold them for. This was particularly true for the late-model shotguns and Model 70's, and less so for the lever guns, the latter of which nevertheless were also discounted some.

What is the difference betweeen the 1200 & the model 12? Mine is a model 12 in 16 ga.

My son claims my old 1400 Winchester 16 guage. It has the old Polychoke on it and i think it one of the best choke systems made-even if it is ugly as sin. :wink:

I picked up a 1200 in 12 gauge from a guy I know a few years back. It had seen little use and I bought it for $125. I seems like a decent shot gun.

that was my 'first' shotgun in 12ga , had three bbls for it full vented rib , mod vent rib , and imp cyl , loved that gun , its one i kick myself over often
