anyone loading slugs?? i have a handi rifle and have developed a bad twich because of the recoil of hot slug loads. i have loaded some slugs with the standard skeet load of 18 gr. red dot with a 1 oz slug. the rifled slug blr. has been giving fairly good accuracy not great but i dont really know what to expect. i know it is not going to put them into an inch at 100 yards. but i do think i should be about to do better than 4 to 5 inches. hope i can find someone who has plowed this ground and can save me some time and powder. joe gifford |

...Aguila Mini-Slugs and Mini-shells (buckshot and 7 1/2) may interest you...shorter and much lighter kick...still plenty lethal...sold in bx of 20...got mine from AmmunitiontoGo.com... |

yep but i want to hand load as i have lead moulds and cases. besides i am a reloader and really like doing it. |

You might czech this site out and see if there is anything you can use. I got some of their RSS-12 sabots and in the load I tried it blew a hole through both gas checks and the sabot that was equal to the .50 cal bullet I was using.
