Nice lookin SKS Mikey! I wish I could find a magazine for my SKS that would feed right  My project photo of mine will be me welding it to other metal things to make a anchor out of it. 
I tried bending the lips of the mag up, no avail. One of my buddies keeps saying that the mag springs are too weak and that I need to "rebuild" the mag. |

Oh my God I hate my SkS... Ive got one 30rd that it came with just keeps hanging up on the edge of the chamber, and the other NEW 30rd mag I bought does the same stupid stinking thing...

gatsby hanging up where on the edge of the chamber??? feed lips on the mag should look like this 
shells loaded should be at this angle 
this shell is about to clear the feed lips 
sounds like a feed lip problem if you can tell or show me just where it is hanging up I can probably tell how to get it to feed right. GG |

try to get a pic with shells in the clip and clip in the rifle like this

i keep comming back here - i really want to do something with an SKS - but i need to find an abandoned derilict and then figure out what i want to do ---it just seems like it would be so much fun to play with |
