ok first of all by the looks of it it is a mag problem not a rifle problem

first of all tweak your mag lips out and up at the front you need to get the bullets to point at the chamber not below it. the rear looks ok but the shells are to far depressed at the front. also check that the spring in your mag is raising the front of the shells correctly. (I have run across a few with the springs in backwards.

shells should have an upward slant like this



you might be able to check for the correct spring position by checking under the follower in the front



right at the line in the mag you can see the spring under the follower

Could you take a side shot of the loaded mag so I can see the shell angle?

Well I can see your follower spring is in correct

still looks like the shells need a more upward angle.

I would advise as previously mentioned to tweak the lips untill you can get the shells pointed at the chamber.

Dang this is difficult without the gun in hand. If it was sitting here I could have her runnin in under 1/2 hour.

I have done this for several of my buddies. the tolerances on the sks's
run a wide range from tight to loose they work fine with thier original 10 rnd
integrated clip but the banana style ones need tweaking on some models
if you can get the point of the bullet pointed at the chamber they should feed
correctly and remember this is a double stack mag so both lips will have to be adjusted

i agree it looks as though the leading edge of the mag lips could be tweeked to give a very slight upward and inward slope - aimed at the chamber ,
thats no boat anchor - it just needs TLC
