Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. here's the axle wood in place....a WHOLE lot of chisel work today, but it seems to be in 'level' with all of the planes x-y-z!....now i will wait till the Amish fellow gets the axles in~ by march???....still need to place riceone's elevation screw, the pointing rings at the rear, place the 'D' rings, and paint the bolts......

That turn buckle looks to big for what you are making. Why don't you draw up what you want, over all length, amount of adjustment, (how long it needs to be screwed all the way out and how short all the way in.) what kind of swivel fittings you want on each end and what short of spoke to turn it. Oh, and what size are the screw that go into the turn buckle. Do that and I'll make it for you for the postage and what ever I have to buy.

You are doing a good job and I think that back band is too big. riceone.

I figured even if the wood wouldn't be enough to support it, the hardware alone is useable. AND it is civil war era
