Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

The long awaited 80% receiver for my mg 42 semi build has arrived!!!

I will post pics as I progress in the machining and fitting of parts.
gotta do the long gripstick slot and the semi bolt block first so I am not building an illegal machine gun. then it's mill file and fit Repeat for each cutout and rivet. the receiver is not much too look at right now. And the camera batteries are dead so no pic untill tomorrow.

Lots o work to do (hopefully I Get the height gage I bid on so I can lay all this out on the receiver.) gotta practice welding too.

The blue stuff is layout die. I am waiting on my new height gage to arrive so I can start the machining.

Lot of work ahead for you. Good luck with the build. Mine has been complete for over a year and I never got a chance to shoot it yet. Maybe this summer.
