A co worker came over to shoot a few rounds with me and ended up getting the 380 pistol off of me he has been lookin to get for over a year. he traded me a bunch of stuff he had in his attic for the pistol a couple rusty shotguns and some neat military mementos from his time in the guard. so here are some pics of my goods in trade First a bp front stuffer shotgun (real neat looking) Then a 10 ga damascus barreled bp cartridge shotgun And a couple shell casings a yatagan sword type bayonet that needs grips and a little 22 short revolver with a folding trigger that needs a spring Cool haul lot's of projects for me. Post subject: | UPDATE |
update on the 16 gauge Well guys she is shootable did some test fires after I got the bores cleaned up. Bad news is some stock repair is needed and one lock needs worked on the stock was cracked right at the barrel wedge and repaired badly the repait let go first shot and the front of the stock fell off. Am going to repair it with small brass rods and brown dyed accraglass. this should give it strength and repair the damage without destroying the excellent woodwork on the rest of the stock. still workin on the 10 ga more updates to follow |
