I'll have to look through what I have here.
CZ pellets may still be available for reasonable in Europe.
I should have at least 2 tins to show for sample pix.

Edit: If you can make a couple of gunshows a year, you may find deals on pellets.
Last show here I managed a couple tins below retail- just barely.
Avoid the collector grade stuff- the red and blue crosman spice box style tins should be avoided...

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

Couple of 13-22's.
The one up top is heavily modified, and only has the original pump arm and air tube left.
It wears a choked L/W bbl in .177 and the pre-requisite steel breech kit.

Image
A look at the underside shows the brass FTP, e-clip pump arm pivot pin and the P-rod grip frame.

Image

There's a closer look at the flat top piston.

Bottom 13-22 in top image is bone stock.
I put a delrin flat top piston into it last night.
If the weather holds for tomorrow, I should get out and do a session with the newly modified pistol.
I'll try and post averages here afterwards.

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

I'm still looking over vids from Alliance hobby before I jump in and swap parts. SW

ETA: Dived in and got it apart properly. Found my short piece of rail anvil for drifting out the pin. Time for a lengthy break before re-assembly. SW

Got it mostly back together with a minimum of frustration. Even got the stiffer hammer spring in without launching it into low Earth orbit. I stopped at putting the roll pin back in & will get after that tomorrow.

Of interest might be this enhanced volume transfer port. SW

Turned down a new valve and replaced the wonky delrin piston with a home-made brass piston.
Dumped the roll-pin pump arm pivot with an E-clip retained pin.
Turned down a P-rod RVA and added a Discovery hammer spring...

Image

Had to cut down the plastic breech for it to clear.
This will not be an issue with the steel breeched rifle it will finally end up on.
Gun takes almost all the adjuster screw length before the hammer spring coil binds.
Ran it up to 20 pumps with the adjuster half-way in, and no retained air.
Hopefully get out and do a live pellet test with it tomorrow afternoon.
That RVA is gonna end up on a 13-XX rifle that wears a 24" .22 bbl.
For now, just test purposes...

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

Got out for a short session yesterday afternoon.

All I chronographed was the JSB Straton 15.89 gr points.
They averaged 517.3 FPS at 15 pumps, which is pretty well max for that bbl length and pellet weight.
It was a little too breezy for much accuracy work.

Image

Steel breeched 13-77 at top wears a Weaver K-4-1-F,
which has a needle-point post and cross-hair reticle.
I managed to get it to where it would consistently hit 12 ga. hulls at 12 yards, and then left for fishing.
One of these days I'm gonna get prone and shoot for group.
Things are looking good for that 13-22 rifle.
I'll get things switched around and set up next week some time.

Regards,

Doc Sharptail
