I already posted my first one here, but I thought I'd drop in with the official hello. I'm the new chick from NC. Been shooting 9 years, bought my first rifle seven years ago, it happened to be a milsurp. I strayed for a while, but came right back around. I work in a gun shop for a living, and as I tell my customers... I've almost completely lost interest in modern guns at this point. Belly buttons, I call them. Yeah, my poor Carcano. It doesn't shoot anymore since a very evil Bubba really screwed it up, but I couldn't stand to watch them cut it in half. |

I'm guessing it's a Gardone VT. A handguard can be made by altering one for an M38 short rifle. All you need is a belt sander then cut-n-try. The bayonet & hanger are getting hard to find, though. SW |
