Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Publisher guy asked for pics to put on the bio page. Found these from back in the day when I weighed what I was supposed to. I was on the State Patrol swat team which was good for a long drive whenever there was trouble. There weren't too many of us & we covered a lot of territory. That 78 Dodge would flat get out & walk the dog! SW

Model 28 Smith. Still have it. The State went with Model 66 & left us buy the 28s for trade in $. I should also have bought the Win 1907 351 I carried but I thought 240 was too much back then. Ah well.... They traded them in on M16s which were actually better than the anemic 351.

I do not miss the job. Well, except for getting paid for shooting & being able to draw a case o' 38s pretty much whenever I wanted. I was on the pistol team. SW
