kinda small pic of me, shooting an arisaka toyo kogyo 35th series type 99 long rifle, iirc 
here's one of my son. he lives in japan with his mom, not too hard to figure out who he is in the pic. 
if his mom ever decides to let him visit us in this country, i have him a mukden series 6 type 38 carbine to learn how to shoot with. who knows, maybe someone he's kin to over there used it way back when.

they moved back to japan when he was 5. doesn't remember much english now. good thing my japanese is so rusty

yes , it would be good for him - and you , and he needs to know both sides of his family , only fair to him , good looking young man , will be happy to get that rifle to learn on too , |
