Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Found another Euro RR medal. By a "famous Belgian sculptor". I'm not sure about that, but I'm a sucker for old RR items. It will fit right in with my Belgian Congo Railway table medal made of Katanga copper.

I'm still after a French Indochina railway medal of any kind and have a French dealer looking for me. Also a French RR employee's orphan child's medal that was used for free passage on any French train. SW

Got it today with a pile of similar loot. The larger commemorates 50 years of railroading in Belgian Congo. It's made of copper from Katanga province and very robust.

The smaller is dedicated to a former director for... directing, I guess. The seller described these as "table medals". I'll wander over to hobby lobby and find a suitable shadow box for them. SW
