At the same gun show where I scored the scope, a fellow was selling his "collection" most of which had seen much better days. I looked over an FN 1922 that was severely pitted - could have grabbed it for 100 but pass.
Under a few old brass frame BP revolvers was partially hidden a military HSc marked $350. It also didn't have much finish & seller guy allowed as how it needed "a little work". Grabbed it for a fraction of sticker price.
At home, I discovered the non working condition most likely related to the missing disconnector. Lo & behold there was a parts kit on gunborker with that part, unbroken grips and a slide appearing very much better.
Got it today & after all of 3 minutes, it was up & running like a champ! I'll sell the left over parts and have a cheep HSc. Parts comparison pics & the disconnector I easily installed.
Pics show replaced parts off the gun with improved parts in place, the disconnector & great barrel.
Pooping away my kids' inheritance one toy at a time!
