Czech CZ-82 police and military issue pistol. 9x18 Makarov. DA or can be carried cocked and locked. Two12 round double stack magazines were included. A German made flap holster (police? military?) dated 1992 was included as well as a cleaning rod and lanyard.
It is very well balanced and fits the hand very nicely. Sights are fixed and somewhat small for my bespectacled eyes but should not be much of a problem. Double action pull is much better than I had hoped for and the SA pull is not too bad though it has a little creep. Finish is a black enamel type coating and is in very good condition. The safety and magazine release button are ambidextrous though the slide stop/release is only on the left hand side. Typical import markings are applied to the left side of the slide near the muzzle. The rifling is a polygonal type that makes it look almost like a smooth bore.
The biggest flaw in the design is that the plastic grips are molded with a thumb rest on the left and right grips that prevents the magazine release button to be pushed in unless you change the position of your hands on the pistol. The magazine also does not drop free of the pistol when released.
I like this little pistol and can't wait until I get to put some rounds through it. Got 300 rounds of FMJ and 250 HP will be here next week.
