Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Actually I sort of went crazy last month. First I got a Remington Mosin Nagant M91. Then I decided I needed to complete my carbines and got a Mosin Nagant M38. Then I decided since I got one American built Mosin, why not two, and got a New England Westinghouse M91. Then I decided I needed a Swiss since I didn't have one yet, so I got a K31. Then I said I also don't have a Japaneses rifle, so one type 99 Arisawka was my next purchase. Then I just saw this sweetest little Winchester 1895 in 7.62X54R, and I had to have it. Then I said I'm neglecting pistols so I ordered up a Rommie Tok. Then there was this Walther P-1 I just had to have.

My gun safes are full, and my bank account is empty.....BLISS!

old thread i know but thiught it worthwhile to note that the overwhelming uptick in NICS checks in the past two months is america voting with its pocketbooks ,

i contributed to the cause recently to the tune of three handguns and two rifles , im not counting the 1897 shotgun as it was a face-to-face buy

One of those June acquisitions was a Walther P-1 9mm pistol. It was very innacurate, and my FN Hi-Power 9mm is NOT! So I traded it to another guy for a Yugo M48 Mauser and 100 bucks cash.

When I traded the CZ52, I was the one who had to come up with 100 bucks in cash.....but I HAD it, then.

I traded out for a bunch of AR stuff. Ended up with an early A1 'kit' sans barrel & lower. Now I've got a lead on a rare Colt produced pencil barrel in 6 X 45 (limited number made for testing by the Chair Force). Seems the whole 'poodle-puncher' small caliber debate has been around for a while :lol

If this comes through then I'll have an 'Experimental' A1 clone to play with. Now to find some .243 Boolits to mess around with.

Got the Walther traded for a Yugo M48 Mauser and some cash on his end. But a temporary (I HOPE!) health crisis has me at a nursing home right now. Have two Mausers, a Swiss 96/11 conversion, and a Fusion Firearms 10mm that I haven't shot yet! :-(
