This was a mod choke that was turned to a SKEET cylinder.Got it last nite. Well from G/B but got it home last nite. Boy it shoots nice.I only had #6 shot + some reclaimed clays but it did great. But i learned how to chamber out a round with out holding your trigger finger 2 close to the receiver when you pump it.OUCH !!!

I love these old 500 as you can see by the 12 16 20 i already had.

i have a couple friends that shoot skeet with the 410 , one has been the state champ in the past , they make it look easy but i am humbled every time i try it - and i use a 12ga

I use a 1100 Rem 12 and a 1100 Rem 20 both imp cyl.But i do shoot the Mossbergs from time to time.Wh have pump gun day or 12g day or 20g day just to mix it up. I could not hit a single 1 with 410 till this new 1 yesterday and i did hit way over 1/2 of the 14 rounds i shot.But #6 shot made it a bit harder. we shoot 7 1/2 or 8 shot federal ammo mostly.But anything when we are out.I did 40 rds of #4 express last week and near kicked my drain out,but you don't even see much dust left when they get hit.We buy the wal mart 200rd in a box for $44 most times.I am a federal ammo guy when i buy even in 22 but will shot anything when its free.

...i got some 410 and 20 guage that was given to me that I cant use cause I got nuthin to shoot it in ...you could have it for free-aint a whole lot but better than nuthin ...I'd have to dig it out and see just how much of what there is if you like...

That's been at the top of my want list for some time now. There was an earlier version with the "C-Lect" choke...

I've had poor results with the card over shot versions of .410, so watch what you pay money for. I stick with Rem crimp over shot for .410...

doc this isn't my first 410 but i have never actual bought a box of 410 in my life.What i got i got with guns i have bought and sold over the years and buyen out peoples unwanted stuff like from widows and like that. This is my first pump 410. I never set out to have a set of these 500 it just happened to end up like that.I buy + sell a lot of the 500 stuff.I have a 20g ready to build except for barrel+ wood. I think i got a 12g 1 from someone here a year or so back.I just like to mess with them.Easy to build , parts are cheap if you watch for a deal.Parts sell good. and there is no fitting every part will swap in + out perfectly. Fun all the way around gun.Heres some of my others .
