The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. And a scarce one. This is an original configuration Vetterli bayonet & you don't see them for sale here too often. Andrey might see some where he lives but not many made it to America.

The vast majority of Italian Vetterli bayonets were cut down... and I'm not sure why. I do know the amputated portion was used to make fighting knives for elite units.

It's marked 250 which is about what they go for - I grabbed it for 192 shipped. I have several Vetts upon which I can hang it - better pics when I have it in hand. SW

thats a beauty , it looks to be a long bayonet , 16" blade or more ?
